I respectfully disagree with the idea that Chile’s political turmoil is a response of an economic failure. It is actually the opposite, it is the most successful story we can find in Latin America. I can make the argument that the current social unrest is a “rich kids” problem, as a result of its own prosperity.

Interestingly, liberalism is blamed for wealth inequalities but it is not acknowledged its power to reduce poverty. Are you suggesting Cuba and Venezuela are more just societies? The world needs to pay much more attention to those countries.

As long as Chile does not buy into the socialist model, will be fine.
